Patient Support Specialist I

Job Description

MedWatchers is looking to hire representatives to assist the pharmacist team. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Making outbound calls to patients who qualify for medication therapy management services on behalf of their health plan.
  • Receiving inbound calls from patients pertaining to various services being provided such as medication therapy management, adherence, etc.
  • Coordinating clinical services between MedWatchers’ pharmacists and patients.
  • Demonstrating positive interactions with patients’ involving patient medications.
  • Utilizing multiple platforms to provide a seamless experience for the patient.

Required Qualifications

  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently or with a team
  • High school diploma or General Education degree (GED) required
  • Customer service experience in a medical or pharmacy setting and/or call center experience
  • Basic working knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Responsible and reliable with a track record of good attendance
  • Multilingual is a plus.
  • Background in a pharmacy setting is a plus.

  • San Diego or Alhambra
  • Hybrid, Remote Position

Job Type
